Graduate student Norio Kasahara, MPH, has been working for the Urban Health Systems Strengthening Project in Afghanistan as Technical Advisor since 2011, which is funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).  One of the project objectives is to develop capacity of sub-national public health department.   As the Afghan Ministry of Public Health prioritizes improvement of the pharmacy management, Norio provides technical support to the pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working at primary and secondary government health facilities in Kabul City.  The photos show his post-training monitoring visit to one of the health centers, following the initial training sessions provided in collaboration with Strengthening Pharmaceuticals Systems (SPS) of Management Sciences (MSH).
