Emergency Use Authorizations

Partnered with USP with funding from USAID to develop guidance for medicine regulatory authorities in low and middle-income countries for managing emergency use authorizations for vaccines and therapeutics.  Learn more by reading the guidance documents for vaccine EUAs and therapeutic EUAs.

 

Measuring Medicine Availability and Affordability in Africa

Collaborated with the East, Central and Southern Africa Health Community (ECSA-HC) to conduct a scoping review of medicine availability and affordability in Africa. Read the article in BMC Health Services Research.

 

Evaluating Pharmacist-Prescribed HIV PrEP Laws 

Conducted a real-world policy implementation evaluation of laws allowing pharmacist prescribing of HIV PrEP in the United States. Read the article in Implementation Science Communications.

 

Implementation Science, Legal Epidemiology, and Global Access to Medicines

Discussed the potential for combining implementation science and legal epidemiology to improve access to medicines around the world.  Read the article in Frontiers in Health Services.
